With over 20 years of counseling experience and 5 years as a special education teacher (specializing in ADD/ADHD), I experienced and witnessed the real struggle of mental health and have come to understand our mental health is the result of more than a tragic event, our upbringing, unhealthy relationships, learning disbilities or behaviors. When I started as a Counselor Intern earlier this year with Dawn-Petrice at Youngs Counseling I knew nothing about neurofeedback, but very quickly immediately intrigued. I’m truly captivated observing the transformative potential of neurofeedback in people’s lives. Working with clients daily and getting to see the profound impact it has on individuals fascinates me and fuels my enthusiasm for helping others!
